Vintage and Restore By K

Objective: Design packaging with shelf presence for a new brand of furniture refinishing products. 

Krista Howard, the “K” of Vintage and Restore By K, originally approached me to create a label for her Furniture Paint that she was planning to start selling in retail stores. Besides reflecting the personality of her D.I.Y. product, the labels needed to differentiate Krista’s brand from the trend in chalk paint packaging I’ll call “Olde Tyme Vintage Chic”. I focused on the look and feel of popular chalk artist typography, capturing vintage without too feminine of an edge. My work with Krista grew from a single label design to include a refreshed logo, labels for her expanded product line, and a Microsoft Word template for her product information sheet.
