The Core Collaborative: Rebrand
Leading a Rebrand from the Inside
Objective: Build a brand identity that showcases the personalities and passion of its people and purpose.
The Core Collaborative (TCC) family of brands shares a common story. The mission and vision are intertwined, the “why” is the same. The work that TCC does in nationwide K-12 schools and systems is powered by consultants who are truly talented and who truly care about student learning. The primary goal of our rebrand was to translate that energy and creativity into a cohesive, professional identity system. Together with Tekwani Design studio, we built a beautiful visual identity with a nod to the original logo, a fresh color palette, updated typography, and professional photography that showcased our consultants at work and play. I led TCC’s in-house creative team through a successful roll-out of the new brand, creating the brand guide and templates for marketing materials (social media, flyers, print and digital ads, videos, events). We also created templates for our Professional Learning team (documents and presentations that worked in both Google and Microsoft), frequently asking for feedback to ensure what we created was usable. The result? A recognizable brand that resonated with our audience and worked for our team.
